Even though it was still the tail end of the Nor’Easter storm iin NY on Sunday, I was able to still share in a Great Day! ! recited my poem – NORTHPORT: THE POETRY PATH – contribution to the BARD’s DAY 2026 Book Release Event of BARD’S ANNUAL POETRY ANTHOLOGY 2026 at the WALT WHITMAN BIRTHPLACE (this poem also appears in my latest book – PERIOHERAL VIEW – that is having a lot of success 🙂!, along with the other fantastic poetry anthology contributors! THANK YOU To JAMES PAUL WAGNER for organizing this wonderful annual event that I have attended & enjoyed for approx the last 10 Years, & for graciously having me recite at the beginnings of the event this year because I could only be there for a short time this year because I needed to get to work for my responsibilities shortly after.
* Work was also very exciting because our work team was broadcasting the MTV VIDEO MUSIc AWARDS 2026 Live this year with CBS, as well as MTV!!! It was an honor to observe & be a small part on this awesome team that played a role broadcasting this amazing live show & re-airs, throughout the night, along with many other major television networks. I was REALLY LOOKING FORWARD To The MTV VMA’s that was honoring iconic performers and music videomaker icons like NIRVANA, TAYLOR SWIFT, & MADONNA amongst many other fabulous talents!!! A very joyful & intereting day & night to be a part of this all! 🙂! Well done everyone! ❤! Excellent Photo of me is by BARD’s INITIATIVE Board Member & Poet extraorsinaire DOUGLAS SWEEZEY! <3 THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! A Wonderdul Day! 🙂!
